I recently got me a second Radeon 6870 for the purpose of Crossfiring the cards. (Essentially, running the two GPUs in parallel for more graphics horsepower.) Unfortunately, every time I enabled the option to Crossfire, my computer crashed at the initiation of any fullscreen application. So I returned the card. And now I'm sad.

Did you find out what caused the incompatibility? |

Unfortunately not. Apparently Crossfire from 2011 wasn't the most stable of features for these cards. |
